If you already spend a fair amount of time blogging, money may come to you literally as soon as you ask for it. Once you have an established blog with a regular readership, it is easy to turn a profit through advertising. By hosting sponsored links or banners, you can see income from your hobby almost overnight. Even if you did not start your blog intending to turn a profit, making supplementary income from your blog may be easier than you think.

Of course, even for people who have spent months or years blogging, money from advertising revenue may not add up to a large sum. The amount of money that you can make as a blogger depends on a lot of different factors, but perhaps the most important element of the equation is the topic of your blog. If your blog is on a subject that appeals to a demographic that advertisers have a strong desire to reach, you will be more likely to be able to turn a large profit on your blog than if your blog is on a fairly obscure subject that does not draw the kind of audience that advertisers need to appeal to. Of course, the only way to find out where you fall on this spectrum is to try hosting some ads. If you are already blogging, you have nothing to lose.

Starting A Fixed Term Membership Site

The Easiest Way To Create Residual Wealth Is To Start A “Fixed Term Membership” Site

There is a much easier, more effective — just as profitable!! — way to start and run your own fixed term membership site that *will* be the “next big thing” because of its results. I call this kind of subscription program a “fixed-term membership”  site. Let me quickly explain what it is…

Definition: “Fixed-Term Membership” Site

A “fixed term membership site” (FTM) consists of weekly content shared via autoresponder to paid members for a specified period of time.

In a nutshell, here’s what you’d do in running your own fixed term membership site…

1. Write ONE 2-3 page article lesson every week.
2. Load this article to an autoresponder for subscribers to access.
3. Sell access to the series, which would last 3 – 6 – 9 or 12 months.

It’s that simple.

And the benefits are the exact opposite of the barriers for traditional membership sites…
1.

Fixed-Term Membership sites can be setup in 48 hours or less! All you need to get started is one sales page, one article, one recurring billing processor (I.E. Clickbank or Paypal) and one autoresponder. Do you see how this can REALLY happen for you! Not “sometime in the future” … but, quickly! Literally, this week you can have your own money-making membership site taking orders.
2. Fixed Term Membership sites are easy to maintain! Instead of struggling to keep up with 3-5 fresh articles to your membership site week after week after week … all you need to do is write ONE new article every week for a short amount of time. And, here’s the best part, once you have your articles written … it’s evergreen! That means, long after you’ve moved on to other projects, you can still add new customers to the membership site to access the series you’ve already completed!
3. Fixed-Term Membership sites require no fancy, pricey add-ons! You don’t need to buy any high-fangled scripts to get a fixed term membership site up and running. All it takes to actually “run” the technical side of your site is an autoresponder account and recurring billing (Clickbank or Paypal) and that’s it. It is so simple that anyone can set this up within hours.
4. Fixed-Term Membership sites require very little time! Think about it: which takes longer to accomplish … (a) Write 3-5 new articles every week, moderating a forum, etc., or (b) Write 1 new article weekly? With a fixed term membership site, the only real investment of time you’ll have each week is to write one simple article to add to your autoresponder for members to receive. Hmmm, what could be better?
5. Fixed-Term Membership  sites keep subscribers active! Here’s the beauty of the “fixed-term” model: subscribers will stay active longer. Why? Because with a “traditional” membership site there is no ending spot. There is no finish line. It just goes on and on, long after the subscriber has lost interest and moved on to other things. BUT, with a “fixed-term” membership site, there IS an ending … after X number of weeks, the subscriber will have COMPLETED the series and will no longer pay. Many will stay simply because they are “almost there”. And, when you factor in the numerous techniques I teach on “finishing” you’ll get subscribers hanging on the edge of their sites in anticipation for the end of the series!

Let’s look at a quick example of what a “fixed-term membership” site might look like…

Learning How to get paid for blogging

Learning How to get paid for blogging

There are two major types of business models that
entrepreneurs use to get paid for blogging. The first
and most common way to turn a blog into a profit
making machine is to sell advertising to different
companies and brands who want to reach that blog’s
readers. The second kind of money making blog is one
that helps a single brand improve its image by creating
positive associations between the blog and the product
in the mind of consumers. Both kinds of blogs can
make a lot of money, especially if the creator has a keen
mind for marketing.

If you are blogging with the goal of selling advertising,
there are two basic ways that you can go about
recruiting sponsors who want to put ads on your site;
you can let someone else do all of the legwork, or you
can do the work yourself and keep all of the revenue.
Within the first group, many people make money
blogging by selling space through Google’s AdSense
program. The advantages of this program are numerous,
as it requires very little effort on the part of the blogger
or webmaster to begin raking in profits. However, most
people discover that they make less money through this
method than they had hoped that their blog would earn.

Selling advertising directly to companies who want to
put banner ads or sponsored links on your blog can take
quite a bit of time, but it is often fairly lucrative. If you
have a lot of contacts in industries that are related to the
topic of your blog, you may want to try to go this route.
People who have a strong background in sales and are
experienced at pitching proposals can make quite a bit
of money by renting blog space to interested companies.
The most serious problem with this model is that you
often have to build quite a sizable readership before you
can attract advertisers, which can mean that you have to
do several months of work before you start to get paid
for blogging.

As blogging becomes a more and more lucrative
business, a lot of established companies are considering
how they can get into the action. One way that
companies are capitalizing on the blog movement is by
having blogs that provide a kind of friendly face for
their corporation. Often, a company will employ an
established blogger to create a weblog designed
specifically to appeal to that company’s customers and
to create positive associations with the brand in
consumers’ minds. More than one writer who never
even dreamed that he or she could get paid for blogging
has been approached by a company and
offered quite a pretty penny for this kind of gig.

Blogging is your road to search engine optimization

What is the importance of blogging to search engine optimization.

Search engine optimization is the newest trend among online marketers. Today, companies have recognized that one of the most effective ways of getting free advertising on the Internet is to show up first under relevant search terms in the various engines.

Trying your best to get into the system can sometimes make your site bounce back search engines in the process. But then there are some ways of making sure that both the architecture and the content of pages is as friendly as possible to the search engine spider.

That is why web site owners are continuously conjuring up techniques for search engines to read them as one of the best. The newest addition to doing this is through blogging.

Search engines are in love with blogs.

Blogs  come complete with permalinks, regular updates and with the newest and accurate content. All these in one package is enough to make spiders not want for more.

There are also blogs that spiders do not like. Some blogging habits are less useful to spiders than they could be.  News oriented and political blogs have the tendency to link the phrase “read the whole thing” most often.

This is just fine for humans since they are able to see the link in the context of the post. But a spider do not have the capability to do this. Although they can read the contextual part of your blog, they do not really comprehend the “whole thing” part.

If you want your blogs to attain higher search engine positioning, keep in mind that the spider is the one that determines if you are worthy of the rank.

Below are some spider-sensitive factors you have to consider when creating a post for your blog.

Use a descriptive title. Titles or headlines are given more focus by search engines. It is important that you think of a good one for your blog post. Better use highly targeted keyword phrases that will best describe the content you are writing about. Do not create one that has been used over and over again. Be creative and think of something spiders do not get to see often.

Emphasize what needs to be emphasized. Be sure to make use of the same targeted keywords that you use in the title to the content of your article. You can have repetitions of words that are important. Make them bold or use them in external links. In using your keywords, do not make it appear redundant. Use them and make sense at the same time.

Put yourself in the search engines’ shoes. Search engines have clever algorithms to bring relevant results. Unfortunately, they do not have the intelligence inherent in humans. Choose your words wisely. Using shortcut or idioms is not wise. Use standard words and go directly to the point.

Look up the right keywords to use. There are many tools now that you can use to help you research on the keyword to use. This can help you select the titles and keywords that are most often searched for by your audience. Using this research can help you decide if more people will find your article on “automobiles” if you use the keyword “cars” instead.

Google, Overture and Word Tracker are just some of these. They will help you find out what keywords are most popular and the most people are searching for. By doing keyword research, you can take blogging and advertising to the next level.

Keep in mind that these things are just guidelines for you to based your blogs posts on. They are not really assurances that you will get the search engine rank that you are looking for.

Also, do not be obsessed with writing just for the spider. They are not humans. What is important is that through blogging, you get to convey to the people the message you want read. They are your prime target after all.

Spiders should only just be your second purpose when you do your blogs. Just give them the fresh and keyword-content filled content that they are looking for and you will surely be on your way to optimizing your search engine position.

7 Steps to Creating Your Own InfoProduct Within Hours

When it comes to making money online, having your own product line can put you miles ahead of the competition.

But if you’re like most online business owners, creating a complete product line will take hundreds of hours of your time, or thousands of dollars of your money! That’s why I put together this step-by-step plan to show you how to create your own product as quickly as possible.

Step #1: Decide on Your Topic – Chances are you already have a niche area that you’re focusing on. If not, that’s the place to start. To do this, consider topics that you already have some interest in. Then browse the search engines, forums and even sites such as Clickbank and eBay to see what type of demand there is.

Step #2: Find the Content – I’m a big believer in using Private Label Rights (PLR) content as much as possible. It’s an affordable way to get some really unique content that you can use as your own. There are lots of sources of PLR so do a bit of research to find a few that will give you a variety of information on the same topic.

Step #3: Decide how you’ll use the content – There are many different types of products that you can create. A good idea is to have several options at different price points so that your customers have a good selection to choose from. This will also encourage them to purchase more than one product! When using PLR content, you can easily take articles and combine them to create a special report, ebook or mini-course. For higher end products, record them to create an audio product or have them printed as a physical product.

If you’ve found a great PLR ebook but want to do something different, add additional articles to it, or bundle it with an audio to create a complete product. The key is to be creative and think about what will be of interest to your target audience.

Step #4: Combine content to create a unique product – As was mentioned briefly in step #3, combining PLR content is a great way to create a product that is uniquely yours. Although others have access to the content separately, chances are that how you choose to combine it will be something that only you do. Select related information from several sources to create a comprehensive product.

Step #5: Add some of your own flare – If you’ve combined PLR content from several sources to create your product, it’s not necessary to rewrite everything. But adding your own personal touch is always a great way to engage your customers. This can even be as simple as writing an opening and closing letter that gives your spin on the information presented.

Step #6: Get some feedback on your product – Always have a few people read over your product before you release it to the public. This can be a spouse, friend or colleague although if you choose potential customers you’ll get better feedback. And you may even get a couple of testimonials that you can use in your marketing materials.

Step #7: Put together a sales letter – Some PLR content comes with pre-written sales letters. Since you will have added some additional information you’ll need to modify these materials. Or, sit down and write your own sales letter that highlights all of the benefits of your product.

Repeat these steps for multiple products at different price points and you’ll soon have a complete product line. It doesn’t get any easier than that!
